The fourth annual Three Rivers 5K Run and 5K Walk will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012. The 5K Run will be a timed, competitive race, while the 5K Walk will be an untimed, non-competitive fitness event.
Registered participants can transfer their race registration to another event. The Race Change Request Form must be filled out and submitted to the Festival Foods La Crosse Fitness Festival by April 30, 2012.

Entry fees are non-refundable. Although the 5K Walk is non-competitive, entrants will be given racing bib numbers to wear to indicate that they are official participants. Entries in the 5K Walk may be transferred to another person. Entry fee schedule:
All finishers of the 5K Run and the 5K walk will receive a finisher's t-shirt. An award ceremony for the top finishers in the 5K Run will begin at 11:00AM near the finish in Riverside Park. Trophies will be awarded to the top three men and top three women (based on gun time). In addition, age-group awards will be presented to the first three male and female finishers in the following age groups, based on chip time:
For reasons of safety, we strongly discourage runners from using any such devices during these events. If you feel that you must have one with you, please keep the volume low so that you can hear vehicular traffic, instructions from police or course marshals, and comments from nearby runners. Wheelchairs The 5K Run does not have a competitive wheelchair division, but any wheeler who wishes to participate and receive an accurate chip time for the five kilometers will be accommodated with a 9:55AM start. Wheelers who wish to participate in the 5K Walk may do so, but will not be permitted the earlier start time and, for reasons of safety, will be required to be considerate of the other walkers along the course. Baby Strollers and Joggers, Skateboards, Bicycles, etc. Entrants in the 5K Walk may use baby strollers or joggers, but as with wheel chair participants, will be expected to be considerate of the other walkers on the course. Baby strollers and joggers are NOT permitted in the 5K Run. Rollerblades, skateboards, bicycles, tricycles, and similar devices may NOT be used in either event. Cancellation If you cannot participate, the entry fee is not transferable and is not be applicable to next year's event. We will, however, upon written request be happy to provide you a t-shirt from the race. This shirt can be picked up after the race at the La Crosse City Hall in the Parks and Recreation Department. For a mailing and handling fee of $10, you can have a finisher's shirt mailed to your home.
