St. Clare Health Mission Half-Marathon

If you want the challenge of running a long distance, but do not feel like tackling the 26.2-mile marathon, a half marathon might be the perfect race for you. This event will be held on the 6th of May, 2012 (Sunday) as a part of the Festival Foods La Crosse Fitness Festival.

The half marathon will start at exactly 7:00 in Pettibone Park.

The Course

The course of the half marathon will start close to Pettibone Park and will cross the Cass Street Bridge by spanning the Mississippi River in the downtown part of La Crosse and then it will proceed to tour the south perimeter as well as the south side of the town. The south leg parallels the Mississippi, and the north one parallels the scenic river bluffs that pass through business districts and residential neighborhoods. The half marathon course will end in Myrick Park, close to the La Crosse University of Wisconsin.

The St. Clare Health Mission Half-Marathon is a USATF-certified course. The registration number is WI-11007-DM.
