Cycling Criterium

Join us for the Cycling Criterium in downtown La Crosse on Sunday, May 6, 2012.

Same day registration opens at 8:30am in Riverside Park. Registration closes 10 minutes prior to the start of the event. First event category will begin at 9:00am at the corner of Front St. & State St. This is an all-day event, please note category start times below.

The Course

The Cycling Criterium format is a fast, flat 0.86 mile loop, road bike race on closed city streets in historic downtown La Crosse. The course begins by Riverside Park and continues south along Front Street. A quick easternly turn on King Street leads into a northbound path on 2nd Street. Racers will then turn west onto State Street and then back onto Front Street for multiple laps.

The Course

Registration will be available on race day in Riverside Park across from the Radisson Hotel starting at 8:30AM on Sunday, May 6, 2012. Registration for each category will remain open until 10 minutes prior to the start of the event.

Rules

The Festival Foods La Crosse Fitness Festival Cycling Criterium is held under USA Cycling event permit #2012-47. All USAC/WCA rules apply. Helmets are required at all times when on a bicycle. A valid USAC license is required to race. Unlicensed riders must purchase a single day license or annual license. The Festival Foods La Crosse Fitness Festival reserves the right to combine or cancel categories for any reason, including limited entrants.

Note: Racers may register for multiple categories on race day for $10 per additional event.
